Cased James Warner Pocket Model Cartridge Revolver
Serial no. 1387, .30 caliber rimfire, 5-shot cylinder with roll-engraved line
decoration and with 1857 patent marking; 3-inch round barrel; silver-plated steel frame
and triggerguard, balance blued finish, with case-hardened hammer and lever, attached to
cylinder pin/ejector. Varnished walnut grips. Case with burgundy velvet lining and
cartridge block in bottom; lid with embossed scroll motifs on purple velvet; case of gutta
percha, with relief scroll and border designs on lid and border motif on bottom.
Condition: Excellent. 75% blue on barrel and cylinder; 90% silver;
60% case-hardening; tracking lines on cylinder; 99% varnish remains on grips; crack on
left grip panel. Case excellent with minor wear and stains on interior.
