Sharps Second Model Breech Loading Single Shot Pistol
Serial no. 569, .36 caliber percussion, 6 1/2-inch barrel, blued finish with
case-hardened lever and breechblock; varnished walnut grips. Maker and address marking on
right side of frame; patent marking on left.
Condition: Fine to excellent. 80% blue, fading to age brown,
primarily on barrel; 40% case-hardening, fading; light patina and pitting, primarily on
left side of frame. Grips excellent with 95% varnish.
