Rare Allen & Thurber Tube Hammer Pocket Pistol
Serial no. 87, .36 caliber percussion, double action, 2 3/4-inch part round part
octagonal barrel; five of eight facets to barrel breech with maker and Grafton markings,
patent date 1837 and other stampings; engraved frame and ALLEN'S PATENT marking; drop
angle grip profile; walnut grips with escutcheon inlays.
Condition: Very good to fine. Brown and gray patina; wear, marks and
light pitting.
