U.S. Navy Issue Colt Model 1900 Automatic Pistol
Serial no. 1050 and issue number U.S.N. 50, .38 rimless smokeless caliber, 6-inch
barrel, standard "Browning's Patent", 1897 patent date, maker and Hartford
address on left side of slide; rampant colt logo within circle on left side of slide
behind serrations. AUTOMATIC COLT and caliber marking on right side of slide; blued finish
with case-hardened hammer and sight/safety; varnished walnut grips. Small trident marking
on right side of front bow of triggerguard. Triangle mark with B on left side of front bow
of triggerguard. 1884 patent date on bottom of magazine.
Condition: Fine to excellent. 95% blue overall with some wear and
nicks. 95% case-hardening. Grips show 95% varnish with few marks.
