Colt Richards-Mason Model 1860 Conversion Army Revolver
Serial no. 5923, .44 caliber, 3 3/4-inch barrel with brass blade sight. Barrel stamped
1913 in ejector rod housing gutter [assembly number]. Nickel-plated brass gripstrap
assembly. Ivoroid plastic grips.
Condition: Good to very good as configured. Barrel shortened and
sight re-positioned. Barrel, cylinder and frame showing grey patina and scattered pitting
and dents. Wedge screw marred. Some screws replaced. Triggerguard retaining approximately
90-95% re-nickeled finish, the backstrap with grey patina. Grips are later replacements.
Action good.
