Cased Custom Engraved Colt 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver
Serial no. 284452. .31 caliber, 6-inch octagonal barrel with single-line New York
address. Custom scroll-engraved. Blued finish. Silver-plated brass triggerguard and
gripstrap assembly. Ivory replacement grips. Contained in original London Colt factory
case with unmarked two-cavity bullet mold, unmarked eagle flask, Eley cap tin, L-shaped
screwdriver and opened box of shellacked cartridges.
Condition: Very good as custom engraved and refinished. Retaining
approximately 85-90% reblued and re-silvered finish with scattered wear and patina.
Cylinder engraving refreshed. Grips excellent. Action tight and crisp. Case re-lined and
showing some loose partitions. Accessories with wear and patina.
