Serial no. 940, 10 gauge, 30-inch barrel with steel under-rib. Side hammer. Topstrap
marked: Col. Colt Hartford Ct. U.S.A. 5-shot cylinder with lever rammer. Scroll-type
trigger guard. Deluxe walnut fore-end with brass cap and oval German silver wedge
escutcheons. Checkered deluxe walnut buttstock with shotgun butt and steel buttplate.
Wooden ramrod with brass ball tip.
Condition: Good to vey good for this model. Metal showing dark age
patina with scattered wear and light pitting, Wood excellent with a few minor dents and
blemishes. Action very good.
