Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver, without Loading Lever
Serial no. 216163, .31 caliber, 6 shot, 4-inch barrel with single line maker and New
York U.S. America marking; COLTS/PATENT on left side of frame; stagecoach holdup cylinder
roll scene; blued, with case-hardened frame and hammer; silver-plated brass gripstraps;
varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Very good. Brown patina, light marks; cylinder scene with
light wear, some nicks on front of cylinder; traces silver on straps; 95% varnish, wear on
sides of butt. Missing wedge screw and loading lever, but with lever screw. Mechanism
needs repair or adjustment.
