Colt Lightning Medium Frame Slide Action Rifle
Serial no. 32486, .38-40 caliber, 26-inch round barrel with German silver blade front
sight and blued elevation rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Fire-blued screws. Walnut
stocks. Crescent butt.
Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish with
patches of light frosting of finish on frame and minor flaking on bottom of magazine. Wood
excellent to mint. Mirror bright bore. An exceptional example.
Note: Manufactured in 1888.
