Fine Colt Model 1878 Double Action Revolver with Pearl Grips, Etched Barrel and
Lanyard Swivel
Serial no. 13075, .44-40 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with two-line maker and Hartford
address marking on top, and etched COLT FRONTIER SIX-SHOOTER on left side; blued with
mother-of-pearl grips. Blued lanyard swivel on butt. Sold with a Colt factory letter
confirming configuration.
Condition: Fine. 95% blue; minor storage marks, light wear and some
fading; light swivel wear on butt; small spot pitting and wear on ejector rod housing at
muzzle. Pearl with some discoloration, fading.
Note: Manufactured 1884
