Fine Colt Bisley Flat-top Single Action Army Revolver
Serial no. 258658, .44 Russian caliber, 7 ½-inch barrel with standard maker and
Hartford address marking; left side of barrel marked: (BISLEY MODEL) 44 RUSSIAN CTG.;
German silver blade front sight on blued steel base; blued steel rear sight dovetailed on
flattop frame; two line three patent date marking on left side of frame, with rampant colt
logo in circle to right; blued, with case-hardened hammer; checkered hard rubber grips.
Sold together with Colt factory letter confirming configuration.
Condition: Fine. 97% blue, minor marks on backstrap and ejector rod
housing; minor tracking lines on cylinder. Case-hardening 95%; grips fine.
Note: Mfd. 1904.
