Scarce Gold-Inlaid London Colt Third Model Derringer
Serial no. 570, .41 caliber, 2 3/8-inch blued barrel, the sides and top with
gold-inlaid floral scrolls. Left side of barrel with address reading: Colt's Firearms
Co./14 Pall Mall, London. Fire-blued hammer. Gilt-finished brass frame. Varnished walnut
grips.
Condition: Very good. Barrel retaining traces of blue finish, the
remainder with age patina and scattered pitting. Frame retaining gilt finish. Grips with
light wear, dents and blemishes. Action good.
