Colt Model 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver
Serial no. 78135, .31 caliber, 5-inch octagonal barrel with two-line New York address.
Left side of frame marked: Colt's Patent. Letter "G" stamped on left side of
triggerguard. Brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Good as configured. Barrel lightly cleaned and showing
strong traces of faded reblued finish. Wedge screw missing. Loading lever retaining
approximately 60-65% case-hardening with wear to relief edges. Cylinder retaining strong
scene but showing scattered dents and bruises. Triggerguard and gripstrap with traces of
finish and heavy wear. Grips retaining strong traces of finish with minor wear, dents and
bruises. Action good.
