Serial no. 162. 10 Gauge. 32-inch Damascus barrels. Game rib with doll's head
extension. Case-hardened action with bar-action locks and well-defined percussion fences.
Action and locks border engraved with 15 - 20% coverage of fine foliate scroll details.
Finely checkered half-pistolgrip stock of figured dark walnut. Steel sculpted gripcap.
Silver oval with: W. F. H. Steel buttplate. Finely checkered splinter fore-end with
Deeley-style release.
Condition: Very Good. Barrels show 30 - 40% worn brown finish. Action
and locks show a silver patina with some spotting. Bores show light pitting near breech
and frosting throughout. Left hammer slightly loose. Action barrels show slight looseness.
Stock shows nicks and scratches with areas of losses to finish. Checkering shows some
filling. Fore-end shows losses to edges at the front with some repairs with wood filler.
Horn tip replaced with wood filler.
