Colt Model 1878 Double Barrel Hammer Shotgun
Serial no. 4085, 10 gauge, 30-inch side-by-side Damascus barrels with maker and
Hartford address marking on concave rib at breech; brass pin front sight; blued, with
case-hardened locks, and breech; border engraving. Excellent varnished and checkered
select walnut semi pistol grip stocks; German silver oval escutcheon inlaid on bottom of
buttstock.
Condition: Excellent, with 98% finish overall. Storage marks, more
pronounced on bottom of buttstock.
