Excellent Colt Model 1883 Hammerless Double Barrel Shotgun
Serial no. 8164, 12 gauge, 28-inch side-by-side Damascus barrels with matted concave
rib, marked with maker, address marking; improved and improved cylinder chokes; brass bead
front sight; patent marking engraved on floorplate; manual safety; extractors; blued, with
case-hardened frame and floorplate. Varnished and checkered semipistolgrip stocks with
checkered composition buttplate; German silver oval escutcheon inlay on bottom of
buttstock; ebony inlay on fore-end tip.
Condition: Excellent. 95% finish on barrels; minor fading; 70%
case-hardening; 85% blue; light patina; excellent stocks retain 98% varnish, nicks, marks.
