Parker PH Grade Double Barrel Hammerless Shotgun, c. 1927, with Original Hang Tag
Serial no. 223881, 10 gauge, 32-inch Parker steel barrels with standard markings,
German silver bead front sight on matted rib barrels; chokes; automatic safety; automatic
ejectors, double triggers; PH and P stamped on top of frame water table; P in circle and
HT/A as well as 5 with 8 on bottom of barrel lug; blued and case-hardened finish; scroll
and border engraved on frame, barrel release lever and fore-end mounts. Varnished and
checkered select walnut pistolgrip stocks with shield-shaped German silver escutcheon on
bottom of buttstock; composition buttplate. Length of pull, 14 1/4-inches. Weight 9 lbs. 1
ounce. Factory hang tag marked with serial number, weight, gauge, barrel length, etc.
Condition: Fine. 95% blue on barrels; light patina on side of left
barrel at breech up to end of fore-end; triggerguard with brown patina; frame with 85%
case-hardening, light surface pitting and some fading patina. Excellent bores. Stocks with
95% varnish and with light chipping near buttplate, mars on left side of butt, and small
chip from buttplate at toe. Hang tag with brown patina, torn in three pieces.
