L.C. Smith Side-by-Side Sidelock Double Barrel Shotgun, by Hunter Arms Co.
Serial no. 203690, 12 gauge, marked 2E on bottom of barrel lug, improved and full
chokes, 30-inch barrels with solid matted rib; automatic safety; single trigger,
selective, ejectors; blued, with case-hardened breech and lockplates, with light engraving
and game scenes. Varnished and checkered select walnut straight stocks, with beavertail
fore-end; cushioned buttpad with leather facing on butt. Gold oval escutcheon inlay on
bottom of buttstock.
Condition: Very good. Gray patina to locks and breech, with patina;
triggerguard reblued. Stocks revarnished; buttpad likely refaced.
