Factory-Engraved E.J. Churchill Premier Model Side-Lock Double Barrel Shotgun
Serial no. 2945, 12 gauge, 30-inch blued barrels with textured rib. London and nitro
proofs. 1 1/4 choke. Case-hardened frame and sidelock action profusely engraved with bank
note scrolls. Lock marked: E.L. Churchill. Floorplate marked: Premier/Finest
Quality/Model. Floorplate, triggerguard and lower tang engraved en-suite. Single trigger.
Gold monogram escutcheon with C.T.G. monogram. Checkered deluxe walnut stocks with
beavertail fore-end and Hawkins recoil pad.
Condition: Very good. Barrels retaining approximately 90-95% finish
with scattered light wear. Faded case-hardening. Wood very good with scattered dents and
scratches.
