Unique and Attractive Unmarked American Hand-Forged Bowie Knife
7 3/4-inch unmarked hand-forged clip-point blade with deep single blood channel on left
side of blade. 12 1/2-inches overall. Diamond-shaped steel crossguard. Hand-checkered bone
gripscales with three copper rivets. Inlaid pewter bands and pommel cap. No scabbard.
Probably of Texas origin, reportedly found in 1942 in a San Antonio pawnshop by a soldier
stationed there.
Condition: Excellent with light age patina and minor spotting. Grip
with mellow age patina.
