Scarce British Day's Patent Single-Shot Breech-Loading Cane Rifle, c. 1870
Serial no. 12160 [cane and stock], .41 caliber centerfire, 25 7/8-inch tapered barrel
with British proofs. Stamped: 74. Twist-open spring-loaded action and breech. External
trigger and safety. One-piece varnished walnut grip. Twist-off locking walnut skeleton
stock.
Condition: Good. Metal with grey patina, wear and light pitting. Grip
and buttstock with light wear and bruises.
