Rare Japanese 36 Caliber Six-shot Matchlock Pepperbox
The hand rotated 6-1/4-inch barrels formed from a single casting and each with touch
hole. The brass firing arm activated by squeezing the brass trigger. Heavy brass frame
with incised copper bands, the right side with eight-pointed star and pellets, the grip
inset with elongated brass inverted teardrop. Length: 11-inches.
Condition: Excellent, with crisp corners and very minor handling
marks to wood.
