Rare Early Springfield Arms Co. Belt Model Revolver, with Loading Lever
Serial no. 77, .31 caliber percussion, 6-shot cylinder with etched decoration; 5
7/8-inch round barrel; address marking on topstrap; Warner's Patent 1851 marking on right
side of stand-of-arms and flags engraved frame; blued, likely with case-hardened hammer
and loading lever. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Very good to fine. Gray patina, light pitting and patina;
cylinder with fine scene, light wear; appears old refire-blue of loading lever,
replacement rammer screws, and possibly rammer assembly; 90% varnish on grips, 9 notches
cut on right grip panel, wear and nicks at butt.
