Scarce Boxed and Blued Merwin Hulbert & Co. Double Action Army Revolver with
Square Butt
Serial no. 24002, .44-40 caliber, 6-shot fluted cylinder, Merwin Hulbert & Co.,
address and patent marking on top rib of 5 1/2-inch barrel; blued with case-hardened
bottom to folding hammer, triggerguard and trigger; checkered hard rubber grips; lanyard
ring on butt. In tan pasteboard box, with "Merwin, Hulbert & Co's Automatic"
label in lid; with wire cleaning brush.
Condition: Excellent, with 92% blue, wear, light nicks on barrel;
tracking lines on cylinder; 95% case-hardening. Grips excellent. No. 22636 written on
bottom of box.
