Prototype without Standard Serial Marking, in Colt Walnut Display Case
.45ACP caliber, 5-inch barrel, standard slide markings of Remington UMC company, Colt
patent dates, and model designation, as well as UNITED STATES PROPERTY on frame. Military
grade of blue finish; checkered and oil-finished walnut grips. Varnished hardwood Colt
display case, with black velvet contour lining.
Condition: Fine. 98% finish; mainspring housing with brown and gray
patina. Case c. 1980s, 1990s.
