Fine U.S. Martially Marked Colt Model 1917 U.S. Army New Service Revolver
Serial no. 223819, .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with standard maker, Hartford and
patent dates two line marking; UNITED STATES PROPERTY on bottom of barrel; rampant colt on
sideplate; military grade blued finish with oil-finished walnut grips; lanyard swivel on
butt. U.S. Army butt marking with issue no. 66289.
Condition: Fine. 90% blue, balance fading to brown; minor wear,
mainly on barrel; tracking lines on cylinder; grips with dents on butt.
