Colt Model 1851 Percussion Revolver
Serial no. 4285, .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with single-line New York
address. Small brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Fair. Metal showing grey patina with scattered light
pitting. Lever latch missing. Wedge a modern replacement. One frame screw missing and one
an incorrect replacement. Cylinder does not advance when hammer is cocked. Grips with wear
and marks.
