Rare Colt Paterson No. 2 "Ring Lever" Revolving Rifle
Serial no. 201, .44 caliber, 32-inch heavy octagonal barrel with dovetailed German
silver blade type front sight and original factory rear elevation rear sight. Standard
barrel address reading left to right from breech to muzzle. Loading lever on right side of
barrel lug. 8-shot cylinder. Ring lever. Hammerless action. Serial numbers found on
cylinder, cylinder ring, barrel and wedge. Standard varnished walnut stock with crescent
butt.
Condition: Good to very good for this model. Metal showing mottled
grey patina overall with scattered light pitting present. Slight traces of cylinder scene
remaining. Rear wedge missing. Several screws marred. Wood with light wear and minor chip
repair to toe. Buttplate slightly bent at toe.
