Serial no. 15185. 16 x 16 gauge x 9.3x72R. 26 5/8 inch barrels. Matted flat rib with
flip-up sight and dovetail. Case-hardened border engraved snap underlever action.
Extractor, Adjustable front trigger. Top lever rifle barrel selector. Percussion fences.
Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of figured dark walnut. Horn gripcap and heel plate.
Cheekpiece. Later leather covered trunk case with replaced green baize interior. Charles
Boswell label.
Condition: Very Good. Barrels show silver-brown patina with spotting.
Barrels with numerous dents. Heavily frosted bores with areas of light pitting. Action
shows a silver patina with case colors in protected areas. Action/barrels show looseness.
Wood shows nick and scratches and wear to finish. Areas of recoated finish. Checkering
shows filling. Case in very good partially refinished condition.
