Adams Double Action Percussion Revolver together with a Contemporary Bowie Knife
Serial no. 27896, .50 caliber, 6 7/8-inch octagonal barrel marked: Deane & Son, 30
King William St. London Bridge British proofs. 5-shot cylinder. Checkered walnut grip.
Sold together with contemporary bowie knife labeled: The Cheyenne Buffalo Knife by Ben
Nighthorse. Decorated with a three-dimensional buffalo head. Gold-plated horn-shaped
crossguard. Walnut grip with turquoise stones. Turquoise stone pommel cap. Framed and
mounted in a driftwood frame.
Condition: Revolver: Fair to good. Metal showing dark age patina with
scattered patches of surface rust and pitting overall. Trigger return spring broken. Grip
with wear and light marks. Knife: Excellent.
