French Model 1854 LeFaucheux Pinfire Revolver
Serial no. 28256, 11mm, 6 1/8-inch barrel. Blued finish. Spur triggerguard. Rosewood
grips. Lanyard ring.
Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of blue finish on cylinder,
the remaining areas with grey-brown age patina with scattered light pitting present. Grips
retaining approximately 85-90% varnish with minor marks overall. Action tight and crisp.
Note: These European pinfire revolvers were often imported and used by Union officers
during the Civil War.
