No serial number, .22 rimfire caliber, 3 1/4-inch octagonal barrel with British
proofmarks, also present on 7-shot cylinder; blued, with silver-plated brass frame and
buttcap; checkered walnut grips. Mahogany case with burl walnut lid inlaid with engraved
shield-shaped brass escutcheon with engraved banner beneath; lined in blue felt; with
accessories of pewter oil bottle, wood-handled brass cleaning rod and key.
Condition: Fine. 95% finish; light patina; tracking lines on
cylinder; case fine with light nicks and wear on exterior.
