Fine Cased and Engraved "Baby Tranter" Single Action Spur Trigger Revolver
Serial no. 6883, .22 rimfire caliber, 2 9/16-inch octagonal barrel engraved C. GOLDEN
BRADFORD. on top; TRANTER'S/PATENT on left side of frame in line with barrel; 7 shots;
blued, with engraved and gold-plated brass frame and buttcap; nickel-plated cylinder;
checkered walnut grips. British proofmarkings. Walnut case with burl lid inlaid with
shield-shaped escutcheon of German silver; lined in purple velvet; with accessories of
L-shaped screwdriver, cleaning rod and key.
Condition: Excellent. 95% finish; light wear; nicks at breech of
cylinder. Case fine, light wear, nicks. Crack on case lid at bottom right.
