Finely Decorated Japanese Matchlock Pistol
.32 caliber, 7-inch tapered octagonal barrel with flared cannon muzzle. Inlaid with
gold and silver dragon and foliage motifs. Fish scale and geometric decoration at breech.
Lockplate engraved with floral motifs. Ball trigger. Cherrywood stock with brass
escutcheons.
Condition: Very good. Metal with dark age patina except for inlays.
Wood very good but having a small hairline crack on left side near muzzle. Wedge missing.
