Fox Sterlingworth Side-by-Side Hammerless Boxlock Double Barrel Shotgun
Serial no. 52689, 12 gauge, 28-inch barrels, improved and full chokes; matted solid
rib; extractors, double triggers, automatic safety; blued, with case-hardened breech and
fore-end mount; varnished and checkered walnut pistolgrip stock with splinter fore-end and
composition buttplate. Approximately 14 1/4-inch pull.
Condition: Very good. 70-75% blue on barrels, fading, worn; 15-20%
case-hardening, fading and worn. Checkering worn under old revarnish; chip at juncture of
stock at rear left of frame. Bores fine.
