Serial No. 1 Hopkins & Allen Hammerless Single Barrel Shotgun
Serial no. 1 on left side of barrel lug, on fore-end iron, and on lower tang. 12 gauge,
full choke 28 1/16-inch barrel, standard markings, ejector, manual safety, blued, with
case-hardened frame; checkered and varnished semi-pistolgrip stock with composition
buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Barrel turning brown; bead front sight missing;
steel with nicks, wear and patina; frame with 70-75% case-hardening; rust and minor wear.
Stocks 90-95% varnish, wear, nicks and mars; chip at left side of wrist.
