French Percussion Double Barrel Shotgun by Zaoue
14 gauge, 29 1/2 inch damascus barrels, the rib with gold-inlaid legend reading: Canon
Damas de Paris. Breech, tang, hammers, locks, fore-end cap triggerguard and buttplate
scroll-engraved en suite. Left lockplate gold-inlaid: a Marseille; right lockplate: Zaoue.
Burl walnut stock with checkered fore-end grip. Ebony ramrod with brass cap. Sling mounts.
Condition: Fair. Metal showing dark age patina with scattered light
pitting. Minor patches of surface rust on fore-end cap. Stock showing wrist repairs and
numerous mars and scratches.
