Serial number 306416; .30-30 caliber; 20 inch barrel; blade front sight, leaf rear;
walnut stock and fore-end; replacement saddle-ring with leather thong; steel crescent
butt-plate.
Condition: Good over all; retains 45 to 50% percent original bluing;
wear on underside and top of receiver and to the loop lever; front of barrel indicates
some light cleaning; scratches and discoloration to barrel and magazine tube; Barrel band
retains no finish; rear sight and saddle ring are modern replacements; stock and fore-end
possibly refinished; gouges and scrapes to forend, handling and wear marks on buttstock.
