*Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall Single-Shot Sporting Rifle
Serial no. 101108, .32 Ideal caliber, 36-inch octagonal barrel with dovetailed front
sight and sporting elevation rear sight. Bottom of barrel stamped: 1 in front of fore-end.
Bottom of frame stamped: 17. Dropblock action. Serpentine lever. Varnished walnut stocks.
Crescent butt.
Condition: Good. Barrel retaining approximately 90-95% of an older
rebrowned finish with scattered wear and patina. Frame with grey-brown age patina.
Buttstock with crack repair at wrist. Remaining wood with minor dents and bruises. Action
good.
Note: Manufactured 1912-1914
