"COLT MODEL 1911A1 REMINGTON RAND SEMI-AUTO MILITARY PISTOL. SN 1377464. Cal. 45 ACP. Standard 1911A1 with gray/green Parkerized finish, 5" bbl & orig fixed sights. Slide & frame have usual markings with "FJA" (Lt. Col. F.J. Atwood) inspector initials on left side & small ordnance wheel on right rear. Mounted with full checkered brown plastic grips with donuts & accompanied by a full blue "R" code magazine. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Overall retains about 98% crisp orig parkerized finish with only slight sharp edge wear on slide. Frame retains virtually all of its orig parkerizing with some cosmoline still present. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore with some minor scuffing in grooves. Grips are crisp. 4-35008 JR137 (2,000-3,000)"
