"MAUSER byf41 BLACK WIDOW LUGER SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. SN 7361y. Cal. 9 mm. Fine Black Widow Luger with 4" bbl, usual dovetail front sight and fixed rear sight. It has "41" chamber date and "byf" toggle link marking. Fitted with orig checkered black composition grips and a black "fxo" magazine with black composition base that bears the waffenampt "37". Accompanied by an orig 1-pc rnd leather lanyard with attaching strap and brass swivel. PROVENANCE: Stern Collection. CONDITION: Very fine plus, all matching including grips, except magazine which is unnumbered but is correct to pistol. All of the appointments retain most of their orig black finish. Overall retains 95-96% strong orig finish with only light muzzle & sharp edge wear and a chemical spot over chamber area. Back strap has a couple of thin spots with front strap slightly thinned and a worn spot on toe. Mechanics are crisp, strong bright bore with scattered light pitting.
