"SWISS LUGER 1900 DWM WITH UNRELIEVED FRAME & HOLSTER RIG. SN 366. Cal. 30 Luger. Fabulous early 1900 Swiss Luger with 4-3/4" bbl, dished toggles, narrow grip safety & narrow trigger with DWM scroll on front toggle link and Geneva cross & sunburst over chamber. This is a very low 3-digit military serial number with orig unrelieved frame. Fitted with matching numbered, full checkered wood grips & an orig flat button Swiss magazine with steel disks. Accompanied by an orig, correct brown leather holster complete with shoulder strap. Back of holster is marked "L.J. WALTHER / SATTLER BERN" in an oval cartouche with "02" in center. To find such an early Luger in near pristine orig condition is extremely difficult & would be a fine addition to any collection. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection CONDITION: Extraordinarily fine, all matching including grips except hold open & firing pin which are properly unnumbered. Overall retains about 98-99% strong orig factory blue & about 98% strong orig factory straw colors. Rear sight retains orig V-notch which has not been modified to a "U"- shape which was commonly done by the Swiss. Grips are crisp with minor light wear & good wood grain showing through. Grip screws retain about 70% orig fire blue. Magazine is near mint. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. Holster is extremely fine with some minor scuffing & light wear with flaking on shoulder strap. 4-36099 JR200 & BS (15,000-20,000)"
