"GERMAN G-41 RIFLE (AC 43) WITH RAILS ON REAR SIGHT BASE FOR DUAL RAIL MOUNT. SN 5625. The G-41 rifle was rare to begin with and to have one with the rail system adaptable rear sight makes it even more desirable. This rifle is all matching with a laminate stock. The stock has been duffel cut behind the rear band and the one-piece fiberglass upper handguard which has been professionally respaired. It is also equipped with a near-new sling. CONDITION: Receiver group shows approximately 95% original blue with just a minimum of wear on the rails. There are a couple of light dings in the receiver top the do not effect its operation what so ever. Bbl and bands also show approximately 97% to 98% orig blue with just the slightest bit of surface corrosion starting. Triggerguard and floorplate assembly show good with approx 80% orig finish with scattered corrosion on the triggerguard and magazine. Fiberglass upper handguard shows good some with light scratching present from the bbl band being removed and a couple of moderate dings just in front of rear sight. Buttstock shows fair to good with diagonal duffel bag cut approximately 2" behind lower band as well as some moderate to heavy scuffing between rear sling slot and buttplate. Buttplate shows even patina overall and the sling is near new. Bore is bright and shiny, showing little use. 4-31667 BK135 (8,500-13,000)"
