Unique open bolt design opens like a bolt action, leaving bolt open when cocking lever is returned to closed position. Selector switch located in trigger guard. 1-pc wooden stock. Sling swivel under bbl jacket in front of stock and corresponding sling swivel under rear stock. All metal dark blued with exception of bolt, cocking handle, and trigger. Heavy muzzle break on end of slotted bbl jacket. Feeds from right hand side, and ejects to left side. PROVENANCE: Stern Collection. CONDITION: Fine. Bluing on most exposed metal surfaces is deep and rich. Unique open bolt mechanism functions smooth when cycled by hand. Bore is dirty but retains sharp rifling.
