Fine Colt Model 1865 Pocket Navy Revolver with New-York Address Marking
Serial no. 18657, .36 caliber percussion, 4 1/2-inch octagonal barrel marked ADDRESS
COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA; COLTS/PATENT in small letters stamped on left side
of frame, stagecoach holdup cylinder roll scene; bright blue and case-hardened loading
lever, frame and hammer, and with silver-plated brass gripstraps and triggerguard;
varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Fine. 85% blue, light wear; cylinder with sharp roll
scene, light tracking lines, some safety pins partially flattened; very minor pitting; 80%
case-hardening, some fading; 80% silver, some tarnish; grips with 95% varnish, light wear
primarily at butt.
