Cased and Nickel-Plated Colt Model 1865 Pocket Navy Revolver, with Accessories
Serial no. 21073, .36 caliber percussion, 5-shot rebated cylinder with stagecoach
holdup roll scene, 4 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with one-line Address Col Saml Colt
New-York U.S. America marking; COLTS/PATENT on left side of frame. Nickel-plated, with
case-hardened hammer and blued screws; varnished walnut grips. Varnished mahogany case
lined in burgundy velvet, with eagle and shield powder flask, steel COLTS/PATENT bullet
mold, L-shaped screwdriver/nipple wrench, packet Hazard's combustible envelope cartridges,
key and container of Eley Bros. caps.
Condition: Very good to fine. 85% nickel; 75% on cylinder, roll scene
sharp; 85% varnish on grips, wear and nicks. Case very good to fine, nicks and wear on
exterior; interior with marks; accessories very good to fine, nicks on mold.
