Fine U.S. Martially Marked Colt Model 1902 Alaskan Double Action Revolver with Lanyard
Swivel
Serial no. 47200, .45 caliber, 6-inch barrel with one-line maker and Hartford address
marking on top, and 45 COLT on left side; rampant colt logo in circle on left side of
frame; blued finish; checkered rampant colt hard rubber grips. Blued lanyard swivel on
butt. Large trigger and triggerguard of this variation. U.S. on right side of frame;
R.A.C. inspector stamping on left side of frame, on left side of front bow of triggerguard
and on breech of cylinder; J.T.T. inspector marking on right side of frame; P and K on
bottom of barrel breech; dated 1902 on right side of frame.
Condition: Fine. 97% blue; minor spots patina, spot pitting on frame
at juncture of cylinder to breech of barrel, and on back of hammer; grips fine.
