Inscribed Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver
Serial no. 203273, .31 caliber, 5-inch octagonal barrel with two-line Hartford address.
Blued finish. Case-hardened lever, hammer and frame. Frame marked: Colt's/Patent.
Fire-blued trigger. 6-shot cylinder. Silver-plated brass triggerguard and gripstrap
assembly. Large triggerguard. Backstrap inscribed: J.G. Miller. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 60-65% finish with
remaining areas showing grey-brown age patina, Strong cylinder scene. Safety pins between
nipple are intact. Traces of vibrant case-hardening remaining. Grips very good to
excellent with wear to edges. Tiny chip to toe of right grip. Action excellent.
