Rare Springfield Arms Co. Navy Model Single Trigger Revolver
Serial no. 100, .36 caliber percussion, 6-shot cylinder with etched decoration; 6-inch
round barrel; maker name on topstrap; Warner's 1851 patent marking on right side of frame;
leaf engraved frame, gripstraps, hammer and triggerguard; blued, likely with case-hardened
hammer and loading lever. Varnished walnut grips.
Condition: Fine. Gray and brown patina; pitting; traces
case-hardening. 80% varnish on grips with some nicks and wear.
