Allen & Thurber Double Action Bar Hammer Pocket Pistol
Serial no. 303, .31 caliber percussion with 4-inch smoothbore part round, part
octagonal barrel; scroll and border engraved frame; blued, with varnished walnut grips.
ALLENS PATENT on left side of hammer. 1837 and PATENTED and CAST STEEL on barrel flats.
Condition: Fine to excellent. 75% blue, balance turning brown. Grips
with 100% varnish, minor marks.
